Default Gas ports

what are your thoughts about having gas ports and a 250shot of nitrous.

the engine is for race only and the ports are vertical.

Brett...what would you say about gas ports on a street motor? gas ports aren't used just for nitrous or boost applications correct?

Shouldn't be a problem on the race motor.

If I was considering them at all on a street motor (which i really wouldn't) then the lateral ports are the only way to fly. You can run them on NA motors just as well as boosted or nitrous setups.

Bret, what is the advantage of a verticaly gas ported nitrous piston on a smaller cube motor with say 300 worth of spray as opposed to a standard design piston in the same motor?
