Default G5X2 in a 370?

Hey everyone. I'm still stuck on that damned G5X2, it just seems 'right' for what I want. I know it'll work well with my combination on stock displacement, and I think it would do well with what I want to do next year, but I want opinions on it. My setup now is this:
-SLP lid/cai
-LS6 intake
-!AIR/!EGR
-Pacesetter LT's/ORY
-Corsa
-3800 stall
-3.73's

I may add a 150 shot soon too, so I know that'll all mesh alright. What I want to do next year is build this, a 370:
-6.0 iron block, bored .030" over
-4.03" forged pistons
-H-beam rods
-stock polished crank
-Ported LS6 heads
-Higher compression either through smaller chambers, milled heads, or dome pistons

This will be sprayed as well. I've seen nasty 370's with decent sized cams before and some nice larger strokers with smaller cams. How would a G5X2 on a 114 work in a 370? I think the larger bore would help out torque down low, and still allow everything to spin pretty high, so it should be pretty nice throughout the entire RPM range, without loping to much or giving too much away. I need opinions please. Thank you.
