Default how do you determine lobe base circle?

Just wondered if there is some way to determine intake and exhaust base circle without a cam card. The only information I have is .602/.602 236/236 112+2

You measure it with a mic or calipers.

I really didn't want to remove the cam to measure it. Is there another way?

The specs look like Comp XER lobes. Call Comp Cams tech. You could try and PM Unaffiliated Racing. He works for Comp, but he hasn't been on the board here in about a month. I'll PM you his contact info.

yes it is a comp xer lobe just was wondering if there was a way to determine without waiting to call tommorow

I do know that a 224 XER lobe has a 37.5mm or 1.47in dia. base circle. Yours should be close if not slightly less.

my guess its close to 1.45, though as stated you'll want to measure.
