crane 832 and trex

I have a set of 832's and wanted to know if they will be ok with a trex every one recommends 921's or prc will I be ok?

if you have them then use cuz they are good to .650 lift but i think you'll need the Crane 144661 Titanium Retainers to work with those springs

no go with the 921's or go with partiot performance dual vale springs. The t-rex is a high rpm cam and will kill the 832's.

just shim them for proper seat pressure and you should be fine.

Shimming the Cranes with 0.060 will give you better seat pressure and load at lift than the Patriots, but I am not familiar with the peak lift on this cam. You also need to check for coil bind as well if you shim.

If you shim them, Crane doesn't make a shim for them but Comp has one that fits. Look at page 355 in their catalog, part number 4748-16.
