Engine coatings...

We're going down the list and trying to make sure we coat everything that really needs it. So far we're coating...
Bearings Main and Rod
Piston Domes and Skirts
Long Tubes

At what point would you guys coat the combustion chamber and exhaust runner? Its pretty pricey so is it worth while?

What coating are you using? There are people that go so far as to coat valvesprings, combustion chambers, exhaust ports, and all this other stuff that makes 0 difference IMHO.

I have read a couple of articles that say coating the valve springs lengthen the life of the spring.

The only thing I would coat is the pistons. Springs under high lift need to be replaced with pretty low milage anyhow so why waste the money. Carbon will build up on the piston and exhaust so I don't see the coating doing a whole lot. Put the money into good parts and call it a day would be my advice.
