Comp has less than 24 hr. turnaround for regular custom cam buyers if they have the correct core in stock. Often an order placed in the morning is shipped that afternoon. The best I've seen on a custom cam: 1) designed late at night after discussion with customer, 2) ordered from Comp in the morning, 3) shipped UPS next day air that afternoon and in customer's hand in CA the next morning. No up charges except for the air shipment.
Comp's Okuma CNC cam grinder(s) make it possible.
