Valve Cleaning Tricks

Weird... Could have sworn I posted a question about cleaning valves a few hours ago, but thread is blank and won't let me edit it.

Anyhow... I'm trying to clean up my valve train and have discovered the crap on the exaust valves is a MF to clean off. So far I've only gotten 1 clean. Anyone have any tips or tricks to make cleaning exhuast valves any easier?

so it wasnt just me

Just use some carb cleaner and a green pad..thats what we've done..

I'll have to give that a shot. I had been soaking the valves in MEK and the green pad. BTW - the MEK and green pad worked great on the intake valves

just soak the exhaust valves with the carb cleaner..let it sit for a few,then scrub..repeat.

You should see how clean my motor is inside
