desensitizing knock sensors Ive heard (read) that you put teflon tape (pipe tape) in the treads of the Kn sens they are "cushioned" and hear less of the detonation.
can this throw a code, because of low activity (too low background noise)

Why go through the trouble of removing the intake? I have a part for sale that's a much simpler solution
