Default P0341 - CMP sensor performance

I really need help here..
I have a 96 3800 Firebird that gets P0341.

I've replaced:
Camshaft Position Sensor - TWICE
Camshaft Position Sensor wiring pigtail
PCM

Still getting P0341.

I would hate to think it's the camshaft itself..

Any ideas?

Much appreciated...

you need to take the sensor back out and look and see if the magnet has fallen off of the cam gear this would cause this code to set, does the car spin over longer than usual before starting

I took the sensor out and inspected the magnet on the cam relucter. It's there and looks to be in good shape. I wiped it down with a rag (it's about the size of a nickle) through the cam sensor hole.

There is not extended cranking at all - fires right up. I was tapping the starter ever so slightly to get the cam magnet in view and it started on me twice - and that was with the sensor removed (plugged in and off to the side).

The face of the sensor itself also looks like new - no scratches or anything..

if you have checked all of the wiring than the ignition module or the ecm is probably the problem, the most likely cause is going to be the ignition module i would try that
