is it safe to use AR472 on LS1 well its about time for me to do a tune up and I recentently came a cross these plugs the Autolites 472s because i have a friend who happens to use them for his car (01 Camaro z28), he sayd a guy at a performance shop recomened them to him but he doesnt really know much about the plugs he just bought them and put htem in his car. He sais they work great and he even gave me a set of 8 so i could try them.
Does anyone have any experience with these because these plugs dont look normal they have the tip cut back a bit like this

i know those arent ar472s but the tip looks like that,
will these work properly? are these better in any way? and also what should i gap these at? my first thoughts are that i should do the stock gap but these look weird it would make sence to gap them slgihtly smaller since the electrode is at angle but idk.
i have a STOCK engine only thing i have is SLP LM exhaust
