cam help
cam help Hey guys im just wondering if I could get pointed in the right direction. I am wondering what cam would be good for my application. I am planning on keeping my Formula a daily driver. My future mods will include a 3500 stall, headers and cam and heads. Just wondering if you can suggest a nice cam for a daily driver but i want to end up with about 450-500 horsepower any ideas? Also what does it usually cost to install a cam?
To get that power level on a stock cube motor look at going with a large cam + good set of heads + fast 90/90 + really good tuning.
Install it yourself and save a bunch of money.
Daily driver wise, look at something in the 224-230 duration range.
To get your power goals I'd suggest T-Rex or similar plus a good set of heads but drivability will definately be sacrificed.
