Hmm, some nice looking stuff. I'm going with Diamond pistons too You're all about coatings huh? I'll have to look into that. I don't know anyone else that runs a friction coated bearing? Sweet though..

The coating is cheap insurance against spinning a bearing. Its $33 for a set of main or rod bearings to be coated.

Any reason for running the Calico 2000 coating on the LGs? With my Supra I ran HP2000 on everything on the exhaust side, but I wouldn't think it is necessary on a NA or even N2O car? I haven't really checked it, though, so any thoughts would be great.

Thanks! Its my first time tig welding aluminum. What have you heard about coated bearings? I have heard nothing but good things locally.

The million dollar question is can I...
1) Get all the parts left over for the build
2) Build the motor
3) Install the motor
4) Tune
5) Break in motor and clutch
6) Tune 300 shot of nitorus

I've only got 8 days left and I still don't have the block or heads!

My sponsors pick up a majority of the bills. We're using a fresh LS6 block and crank. I just picked up the Max 2 and all of the fuel lines.
