TR 224 Experiance:
I have the TR224 on a 114 lsa even though I'm driving an M6. Everybody says to go with the 112 lsa, but for guys like me that want something totally drivable, and don't want to give up ANYTHING (at least very little) the 114 LSA is a great choice. You can hear it lope, but not much. Also, it doesn't surge or buck at any speed. Other than a good power increase, the only thing that lets you know the car is cammed is a very mild lope. If you didn't know aything about cars, you wouldn't even hear it.
The only power mods I have on my car are the cam, unmodified catted Macs, and a lid. The car dyno'd at 374rwhp, and 361rwtq. I didn't give anything up as far as drivability or the ability to pass smog, but I've got a ton of extra power. Being able to hear the air moving through the headers is the only non-stock thing about driving the car. (Other than the lack of traction that is)
So the moral of the story is, don't dicount the wider LSA just because everybody tells you too. 114 equals good drivability and increased stealth.

It's a decent cam. I have some bucking and surge, but I attribute that to a crappy tune by Speed Inc and some other problems I have with them. I'm not very happy for the $$$ I dropped and the corners they cut on my car.
As far as the cam goes, I put TPIS headers and the cam in the car and am Pulling 393 at the wheels. Those are only mods other than a vararam intake which won't show up on the dyno at all, and some suspect will lower a dynojet #. So power is good, and torque is good as well. Mines on a 114 LSA which should be better for driveability(which I still have issues I attribute to the SpeedInc tune)
Overall, I think it's a good cam. In hindsight I would go a hair bigger and have it custom tuned, and I will be using MadZ28 for my 2000 WS6 buildup I'm doing now. I expect a better tune for a whole lot cheaper as well $$$$.
I guess I'm a bit bitter about Speed Inc and my experience with them

sorry to cloud your thread.
