H/C -Problem?
Dual coil valve springs
Hardened Pushrods 7.4"
ARP Head Studs
Stock rockers
Stock lifters
Cometic 0.04" head gaskets
Comp Cams 224/228 .581/.588 114LSA
Rollmaster Double Roller timing chain
Ported LS6 oil pump
Dynatech Supermaxx LT's with cats
Stock LS6 intake manifold/TB
Blackwing air filter
I did the installation myself but there were no glitches. I did not degree the camshaft but I am 100% certain that it was good "dot to dot" alignment and the the timing chain crank sprocket was installed for standard timing. I also did not check pushrod length (I just assumed there wouldn't be any need for a shorter rod).
Any feedback would be appreciated, Ken
You lost compression by not milling.
Thanks, Ken
Or about 10rwhp.
A 11:1 would net you that 20 extra ponies you want.
I'm sure some good wideband tuning should bring out a few more as you are.

Your HP sounds just about right.
We can all HOPE that everyone gets the absolute best HP numbers that someone out there has made. But, your numbers sound right in the ballpark. You're only a few hp down from some of the best numbers. Nothing to be ashamed of. 58hp over a stock LS6 is awesome!
Read this thread, and you'll feel MUCH better about your gains!
"heads and cam only gave 8 rwhp wtf" https://ls1tech.com/forums/generation-iii-internal-engine/388764-heads-cam-only-gave-8-rwhp-wtf.html
"had AFR 205s and a 226 228 114 cam put on my 02 zo6. I also had em put in new pushrods, SVO 30 injectors, ngk plugs, and a new timing chain. the car had Vram intake SLP headers Y pipie Stock cats, and borla muffler. the car only gave me 8 extra rwhp. here is the dyno graph"
375hp and 378tq.
Feel better yet? You've got NOTHING to complain about.

Thanks again, Ken
Recently, we dyno'd a sprint car motor at 813 HP at the flywheel and it didn't do good coming out of the turns at all. They lost the race realllllyyyyyy bad. At the following practice they tuned it for the track and the next race the thing was an ANIMAL!!! They walked away with the race. The next week we pulled the motor to check it over, but before tearing it down we dyno'd it again and it built 786 flywheel HP.
I know you aren't circle racing this thing but you get the point. DYNOS ARE ONLY TOOLS!! They get you close, then you have to tune them at the track.
Thanks, Ken
