car stalls out...
Ok, I have an 01 Z28, its an M6 with lid, catback... thats about all for engine mods. The car has 63k miles on it, runs very strong.
I had driven the car this morning and then started it up so it was kinda warm and it started and stalled out right away... I tried it again, stalled out a second time, car was in reverse with the clutch in. oil pressure is normal, temp was at the 1/4 mark, im at 1/2 a tank of gas and oil is fine as well. I started it up in nuetral and it searched for a minute but settled down at 800rpm's, i reved under the hood, everything sounded pretty normal. I drove it down the road, punched it at 3k in 1st and it blew the tires off like normal, pulled strong to 6k, stopped at the light and sputtered then went to 2k and I had to blip the throttle to get it back down.
I know LT1's but this ls1 is new to me, I don't like it doing this. Where do you guys suggest I start looking? NO CEL or anything, I suppose a scan wouldn't be bad. The only other thing I can think of is my gas mileage is down a little but I figured that might be the colder weather... thanks for any help.
