Default What is the correct Wiring configuration for CAM SENSOR FOR LS2

Wires on old C5 CAM sensor are red/pink/brown. IF YOU PLUG PIGTAIL INTO NEW SENSOR ....WIRES DO NOT MATCH?? Should I go red to red...pinkto pink...brn to brn. Or go Brn to Red, pink to pink, red to brn ...just like the plug is.. THIS IS A 1998 CORVETTE WITH AN LS2 ENGINE.

DOES ANYONE KNOW the proper hook-up...(THE ANSWER?)

Callies Crank, My first issue was code PO-336 CRANK SENSOR
AFTER SWITCHING WIRES AROUND NOW I HAVE PO-342 CAM SENSOR??

Since you have a new LS2 block in your LS1, the 2 outer wires have to be swapped in order for the LS2 cam sensor to work with the LS1 PCM.

I found out the hard way when I tuned my first 427 LS2.

I just did an LS2 402 with a friend. That's what we had to do.
