Default Help! What Springs and etc?

Here's the deal. I just bought a cam, pushrods, and an oil pump from a buddy of mine. The specs are 238/242 @.050 .605/.610 112+2
My mods are listed in my sig.

I need to know what else I'm going to need.
Dual springs? Retainers?
He recomended PRC springs, but are those the best decision?

To make a long story short... I'm clueless and need advice.

I'm running comp cams 928 dual valve springs that are supposed to handle over .625 lift but i know there are better springs out there...just depends on how much you want to spend. You also need to get a different timing chain....once again if you have the money maybe go with a double roller timing set...if your on a budget i would go with the LS2 timing chain...the LS2 chain is what i am running. Also you need to look at getting an LS6 intake....it will help flow some of that air!! Hope this helps some....good luck!

O yah...when you buy the springs do yourself a favor and buy them in a kit that includes the retainers, seats and seals.....it saves you a lot of frustration later....believe me....i bought my springs w/o the seals to go with it and ended up kickin myself

We have the PRC Dual kit(which are rated .650-.660 lift)...

Actually though with the price drop I recommend the Patriot Performance Golds (same as the PRCs with Super 7 locks- just try not to lose any of the locks because they are hard to find from what I have heard)!

Either would be fine...

EDIT: BTW both the PRC and PP dual kits come with the springs, titanium retainers, spring seats, and valve seals... The PP Golds come with the Super 7 locks while the PRCs re-use the stock locks. If you launch a Super 7 you will have to find it, while if you launch the stock locks it is just a quick trip to a GM dealership and a few bucks for some extras (better done before you start if you only have one vehicle)...
