Default Cam...

Ok i know what ur thinking "not another noob asking a stupid cam question" but please hear me out.

So i had a some money to mess with for a while but been holding off and not buying anything till I researched posible ways of modding my car, ive thought of a FI but it seems like I shouldnt do that at this point mostly because turbos arent emissions legal in cali...

but heres what I have gotten down from reading so far, 224/224-114 is an all around good daily driver cam and Im really thinking of getting the FMS Custom Grind Camshaft - 224"/224" .588"/.588" 114LSA which is $389,

I also want a set of heads and i noticed the AFR Mongoose 205cc and their 225cc which are both said to be "emisions legal" and im woundering since its only a 200 dollar difference or so i can get which ever... so which one would be better suited for my car?
is this a good combination?
any guesses on what times ill be runing?
any suggestions?
(all coments welcomed)

My car is a ws6 6 speed with cat back
I will get ls6 intake, SLP Flowpack and catless off road pipe (only thing that i want to do "emissions illegal" because i can easily swap it out at smog check time on my own) but all this will be done right b4 or at the same time the cam and heads are

Just in case you haven't heard of it, there is a smog legal turbocharger kit. The STS kit has a CARB EO number.
