Default my motor is on the brink!!!

Well just after beginning an oil change 2 days ago, i noticed something extremely bad. When i pulled the plug to drain the oil i noticed all this **** stuck on the end, upon closer inspection of this "****" i realized that it was metal! **** So b4 going completely insane me and some friends cleaned up these metal parts and noticed that there was a tiny hole at the end of 2 pieces. We then proceeded to lay them down together. When we did this we noticed that they were c-clips. We then started scratching our heads trying to figure out WTF in the bottom end used c-clips this small. Then out of no where my friend said these were from the rockers. We then proceeded to pull the valve covers to find something that was not good. It was the c-clips holding the bearings in place on the rockers. And it was not just this one clip that had broken, several are missing and some are half there and some are unscathed. So I have no idea the severity of this...

Happens to many people. Usually they escape without incident. keep checking the magnetic drainplug, as well as the oil filter. replace your rocker obviously, and if you dont get any new ticking or find metal shavings in the oil, i wouldnt worry about it.

Buy some used ones on ebay or send yours (if you can have the car down for a week or so) to Nate @ Nasty performance who in turn sends them to Harland Sharp for a trunion upgrade. I did mine, and they came back in a week. I think i actually takes them a day or two for the work.

My car has done that 3 times since ive had it. Get your valve srpings tested because I have heard that it can and mostlikley is directly related to that.
