Default What do you think of this setup?

2004 GTO A4

1) SLP Mid Tubes
2) TR 224/224 114LSA
3) Comp Springs and retainers
4) Comp Pushrods
5) Vigilante 3200 Stall
6) Shift Kit and Servos
7) Custom tune

Im keeping the stock exhaust for now, as it is pretty much straight threw.

With just a tune, I ran a 13.732 @ 100.82 2.042 60'
Temp was in the mid 50's and humidity was about 50%
There was also a 30 mph headwind.

I have the same cam in my m6. Very good manners and that & a few other mods netted me 407hp, 377ftlbs of torque.

Looks good! The stock exhaust duals will be fine for a while. Good luck!

I think you have a good combo. Couple things I'd suggest (keep in mind this is only my $0.02.) That said, unless a smooth idle is your end result, I'd go for the 112LSA TR224 cam. I origonally looked at the 114LSA, but at the last minute went for the 112. I'm very happy I did. Idle is still smooth, but overall HP and TRQ curves are a bit more aggressive and it has a slight, but noticable lope to the idle. I'm also a fan of LT's for any LS1. I've seen the GTO engine bay. Not worker friendly. For the pain of install, I'd go LT's if emissions and budget allow. More gains in the end with a cam.

Good luck whatever your final decision

Ive looked at the kooks LT. Probably the best on the market as far as LS1 goes, but then i look at the $1200 price tag. Its gonna be a spring install, so if i can crunch some numbers, i may go that way just for the sake of power gain.

Thanks for the info.
