2.08 intake valve on 370

By no means 370 is small displacement. 2.08 will be fine on that motor. As a matter of fact I wouldn't use anything smaller than 2.05's. That motor will move some good amount of air. Bore size will not shroud the intake valve.

alright. I already bought the heads, but then i was reading about most people going with the 2.55, and i wasnt sure if there was something wrong with goin with 2.08s. Also, Is there a writeup on the molding clay method to check valve clearance?
Could you elaborate how to use the dial indicator method. or provide a link with a write up?
How much clearance do you think you can have with 2.055 intake and 1.57 exhaust on a stock LS1? What size cam would fit?
