Will all 98-02 heads fit any year LS1? can i swap my 241 to 853 and vica versa?

 

All LS1/LS6/LQ4/LQ9/5.3L heads will all be interchangable. Most important different between all these heads will be the CC of the chambers. All those heads have different CC's and will net you different Compression Ratios (CR).

Are the 241 castings basically just the LS6 (01 and 02) heads? What are the 853 castings from?
