Default Question for Mr. Patman

I went to Autozone today and found about 13 qts of German Castrol. However, about 11 of em had an M04xxxxx code, not the M05xxxxx code. The other 3 had the "Made in Germany" on the lower back left of the bottle, not the right???Is this stuff the real deal and good to use???TIA. If you need pics i can get em up tomm.

M04 is good! That's the green formula, which we all know for sure is good. It's the new gold formula that hasn't been fully proven yet, but is most likely extremely good too. The gold ones are date marked with M0502 and higher. M0501 is still the green formula (I've got a few bottles of those)

While we're on the subject of oil, has anyone tried or know anything about the other euro synthetics, such as; Silkolene, Agip, Repsol, etc.??

Yep, MO3 is good stuff too. In fact I'm still running M03 stuff in my car, and I've got 7 more bottles of it before I even get into my supply of M04 and M05. (I've got about 74 bottles of it)
