What else do I need, how much power My dad and I both have LS1's now, so we'll be doing some modding this winter. I have a 98 Trans Am and he has a 02 SS. Both are M6 cars, I have 34,000 miles, he has 4,000 miles. So far here's what we have
-FM14 cams, 112LSA and +4 advance
-TSP true duals with sweet thunders
-LS6 ported oil pumps
-Gasket kit (water pump gaskets, front cover gasket, front end seal, crank bolt)
-Whisper lids and smooth bellows
-85mm MAFS
-LS6 intake
Here's what we plan on getting in a few weeks
-PP LS6 style stage II heads, 215cc, 59cc combustion chamber, 2.02" intake valves, 1.57" exhaust valves, fully assembled heads with gaskets and bolts
-Harland sharp 1.7 non adjustable rockers
-Comp chromoly hardened pushrods, what length do we need?
-LS2 timing chains
-QTP 1 3/4 stainless steel headers
-Thermostat, should we get a 180 or 160, or do we even need a new thermostat?
I also need valve covers and coil brackets, maybe some new wires spark plugs
Is there anything that I'm missing for the swap. Also, what kind of power do you think we'll be putting to the wheels with a setup like this.

Trivial stuff you didn't list, but I'm sure you know. New coolant, or re-use your own. Oil and filter, change after ~100 miles of driving. Pulley puller (rent from autozone). I don't really know if you need a new thermostat. It wouldn't hurt if you don't mind spending the money. You will probably need a new clutch soon. And don't forget the most important thing a good tune!

Im running the the Comp pushrods part# 7950-16 with my 59cc LS6 heads but length should be determined prior to install by using a checker.Stick with the stock rockers and use the money elsewhere(ARP headbolts).Im running a 160 degree thermostat but the car temp still runs 180-188. Power wise, I would expect you both to make close to 400 at the wheels, give or take depending on your tune.
Push rods 7.4" length. Do your spark plugs when you put the new heads in. Get the stainless band type exhaust clamps. Also reuse or get new GM exhaust mainifold gaskets, Dont use the paper ones you get with the headers. You might want to put new lifters and trays in your 98. Like 777 said get a good tune when your done.
