I've heard you can do it with the motor in the car. Of course you've got to drop the oil pan which means dropping the k-member unless you've got an aftermarket tubular piece. This is something I've been looking into a lot lately. Its like really cheap insuance on my bottom end but I can't find the motivation to do it. That's why I now shift around 63-6400rpms instead of 66-6800.

Hey it says in your sig that you ran that time (no clutch), do you mean clutchless shifting or you had a bad clutch. If you meant clutchless shifting, how'd you do it? What were your shift points and stuff? I'm too scared to try.
