Is the rumor true that using katech rod bolts it is safe to replace rod bolts with motor still in car??? If so what is the proper installation technique in doing so...????

Thanks

I've heard you can do it with the motor in the car. Of course you've got to drop the oil pan which means dropping the k-member unless you've got an aftermarket tubular piece. This is something I've been looking into a lot lately. Its like really cheap insuance on my bottom end but I can't find the motivation to do it. That's why I now shift around 63-6400rpms instead of 66-6800.

Hey it says in your sig that you ran that time (no clutch), do you mean clutchless shifting or you had a bad clutch. If you meant clutchless shifting, how'd you do it? What were your shift points and stuff? I'm too scared to try.
