Default Rotating assembly opinions...

Just wondering what you might think.... as I am new to the LSx series engines, I wanted to know what you think of rotating assemblies for stroker motors.

Should I use the expensive stuff and go with a Lunati kit, or should I throw together a budget kit and use say Eagle parts?? Any opinions or suggestions here would be good. I'm looking to put together a 383 stroker, forged of course, and want to use a decent hit of nitrous on top of it as well.

I just wanted to hear from people who have used this stuff already, and hear any pros and cons of using high end parts or budget kits.

Thanks.

It depends on how you define "decent hit"? If it's around 200 or so, I'd say go with the Eagle crank, SCAT or Compstar rods, and some Wiesco pistons. The Lunati stuff is hard core and way overkill for most applications. You'd have to be spraying some major juice on a 383 to justify the need for the Lunati crank.

Yeah..that "decent" hit was gonna be around a 200hp hit...

Eagle is pretty much what I was thinking, but opinions are always a good thing.
