Indeed they did, they started out as 6.0L which are .05" above the 5.7L castings, but then in the final process, they mill them down .05 to stock specs, so the only the valve size will have to be accounted for when figuring out P to V clearance.
I'm in the same boat as this person is, and what needs to be known is basically, what is the largest cam that can be put in here on the stock bottom end/no flycutting pistons, that will clear with the 2.055/1.57 valves on those heads, that should yield the most hp/tq. I've put up about 3 or 4 posts, but I haven't gotten any definitive answers. I think it takes a little more indepth answers then what you think, because there are a bazillion combos that can be made. Its a complicated process, that involves timing of the lifts/durations in accordance to top dead center.....and the origin of the flux capacitor....aka....too complicated for me to figure out at the moment.
Maybe someone could chime in to a good reading about the processes, and calculating such a thing in accordance to valve size?
Best,
Adrian

If you are realistic about this goal (430-450), try to use as little cam as possible. You will be happier in the end, assuming you want to drive the car often.
