Default Balancing Eagle cranks...

Just wondering if anyone has had any issues with balancing Eagle cranks?? I'm thinking of using an Eagle crank in my 383.... But wondered if the cheaper crank has some drawbacks with balancing? Anyone out there experience any issues with them??

Thanks...

Im lost. Balancing is balancing. Add weight/remove weight in one or more areas till its balanced.

If you are aprox. a 1800 bob weight or less you will only have to remove weight. If your components weigh more you will have to add a little weight. Eighter way the Eagle cranks balance easily.

With 90 percent of parts they balance and some we have welded the holes they rough balanced the cranks with back up to add weight a few times. I don't think we have ever used any heavy metal on one of these yet to tell you the truth. Most of you rotating assemblies are under where they balance or around 1800ish grams as was said earlier on the bobweight.

I sell and use these cranks all the time and offer pre-balanced assemblies that we have already checked here in the shop. Not all pistons work or clear with all cranks and all rods either so beware people selling this stuff that don't really use it as you will be the one stuck taking parts out for more machining and balancing later! I've already had to fix a few of those deals over here lately!

If your going to buy one. Use these guys, that know what works together. I have had to take two assemblies back apart, after discovering the pin pad on the bottom of the piston hit the cranks.
