Ok im a newbie at this umm i have a 1998 camaro my stock motor slung a commecting rod.. So im tryin to improve all this im taken this motor out completely I have SLP cold air induction, SLP 85mm MAF, 80mm BBK throttle body, John lingenfelter intake, 30 lbs fuel injectors, 225cc AFR heads, SLP headers with SLP exaust system, 3.73 gears, 6 speed with a new luk clutch willin to handle up to 500+ horse power... (can change if needed) well the question here is stroker kit... what should i do... I want to make a 383 i have a bare LS6 block im want to make this out of and install. If i install a stroker kit what do i need to change... will it fit in just as is with all the stuff i have or do i need to change the LS6 block in anyway.... then the next question is what cam AFR said 230/232 cam should i go bigger i knwo my computer will need to be programmed for this... i would like to know opinions on this, all info is better than none, THANX

I replied to your other thread regarding block aasembly.
As for the cam, again it is up to you to decide what are you building this stroker for.
That will decide what size cam and pistons you should run.

If you want mundo low trq with sleeper behaviour then yes.
But if you want closer to 450>500 horses, then SCR will play a big role and I would spec a custom cam to fit all that.

what you mean SCR? super charger...? if thats the case im tryin to keep it as naturals possible im not tryin to make it all 1000 hp goin down the road ...and sleeper thats what i want... with the LS6 and a stroker kit id believe myself to be at near 500 hp and the heads i listed about those were wrong... its the 67cc heads valve 2.02 ... just remember im not a mechanically inclined person i know some but the LS1 has me sent for loops its a very different motor
