1.8 rockers on 98 heads?

1.8 rockers on 98 heads?

I've heard of people having clearance issues with the perimeter bolt valve covers & aftermarket rockers.
I eventually want to go with LS6 heads, but would like to install 1.8 rockers now.
Anyone know of a 1.8 rocker that will work with the perimeter bolt valve covers with either no or very little modifications to the valve covers/heads?

Crane 1.8 will fit with very little modification.

I have installed a SLP 1.85 set on a 98 with perimeter bolt valve covers no problems whats so ever.

If you plan on changing heads anyhow, why not get the rockers you want instead of letting a set of heads that are to be removed dictate your decision?

I just figured 1.8 rockers are about the same regardless of the manufacture, so I'd just put the ones that fit in now & move over the the new heads whenever I get around to changing them....I assume if they work on 98 heads, they would work on ls6 heads....but I may not change the heads for a year or 2
