Need advice on a cam.. Ive got a 01 LS1 6 speed with 3.42 gears and Im looking to put a cam in it. Im eventually going to be going to a 4.10 gear but right now I have 3.42s and all boltons. What I need its a cam thats going to pull hard in the midrange as well as upper range. I really love the Trex cam, but I dont want to smash the gas at 3K and have to wait until upper RPMs to start pulling on someone. I need a cam thats going to make good power midrange and upper range..

By even thinking about the TREX cam, I think you are wanting a little more top-end than low-end. With that being said I'd recomend the g5x3 (lg motorsports) or the F-14 (futral motorsports). If you are wanting more low-end I'd suggest getting the cam I have in my sig from comp cams (actually I got it from speed inc.)
