99 SS Heads and Cam???

I have a 99 SS M6 all stock except headers and exhaust and lid. im thinking about doing a cam swap and possiby changing the heads i dont want to go with to massive cam but somthing that will give me good power and a nice lope.i was reading my newest HOTROD mag. and reading an article called LS1 COOKBOOK they used Comp cams Xtreme RPM XR289HR Hydrolic roller cam with headers and a FAST 78MM intake, TB, and A Granatelli 85MM MAF they dynoed 468 HP@6100 RPM and 434 LB-FT @5200 RPM i want at least 400 RWHP do yall think this is a good set up? if so which gears should i go with with this set up 3:73 or 4:10? if anyone has any better set ups let me know.
