Default quick ? regarding pp ls6 heads and tr cam

hey guys,

before you start to flame me on another "trex" question, i have searched and cannot seem to find and answer to the ? i have. I'm looking into getting the partriot performance stage 2 ls6 head in the 59 cc chamber, and will have stock bottom end w/ diamond forged pistons, 3.905 w/ -2cc valve reliefs, will everything clear given the radical size of the trex cam or will i run into ptvc? thanks guys.

PP performance does not mill heads unless asked to so that shouldn't be a worry for you. I have a g5x3 cam and needed to flycut both intake and exhaust .080 deep. I believe you should be fine with the -2cc pistons.

I would contact Gunnar at Patriot. Those heads have bigger valves and that has to be taken into account.

I pretty much can tell you what he will say, "you'll have to measure it with cam in."

We have had customers use that setup with no issues. However, as Predator said, PTV clearance ALWAYS needs to be checked.
