Ok guys, almost got all the money I need to do my cam/headers, my plans are either the TSP 231 or the FM13. My questions to you guys would be, which valvesprings would yall recommend, pushrod recomendation, from what I have read my stock lifters/rockers will be fine. Should I go with the Titanium retainers? Also im going to pick up some coated pacesetters and ORY. Lastly do you think that my TCI SSF 3500 will be enough for these cams, if not im thinking of a PT4000ish from Yank. Thanks for any info guys.

 

get a set of dual valesprings that are rated for you amount of lift you are going to be using from your cam I would put in the patriot performance dual valesprings, they will come with everything you need. pushrods you can go with a couple of companies, all about the same. Go with the pacesetter lt, and the tsp y-pipe- it fits better. Don't really know too much about stalls as i am a m6. stock lifters and rockers are fine.

 

i would suggest a tsp torquer II cam and the kit that includes everything you need. titanium retainers aren't NEEDED, but less weight in the valvetrain is desired. your stall would work well with any of the 3 aforementioned cams.

i owuld do a yank cause you can always restall for free....definitely get the titanium retainers and dual valvesprings...you can try hpe they have the cam kit minus the cam...or they can even pick out a cam...just give them a shout

 

another vote here for the torquer2.

 

just get dual valve springs.
your stall will be fine.
comp pushrods is my recommendation.

 

I bought the PRC spring kit from TSP. Dual springs with titanium retainers. Get hardened push rods from the same place you buy the cam. Stock lifters and rockers are fine. A 3500 converter will be plenty.
