mahle piston ring gaps-file to fit Whats the ring gap for these rings for a ls1 ,ill be using a 100 shot.First time building a ls1 from scratch,ive built tons of gen1 motors,but my first ls1.thanks
Heres the low down,its for my 73 vette and it only gets driven on occasion,so its not getting sprayed as much as it used to,back ing it down from 150 on the tpi motor ,so im thinking maybe set it up in between normal street use and nitrous.What do you guys think.Oh there being used in a 99 block with 04 pistons not mahles.I was thinking of .018 on 1st ring 2nd ring at .015

ok thanks guys,i got a ring gap paper from mahle today from a guy and there saying bore x.0045 1st and bore x.0035 for 2nd ring street and bore x .0060 1st and bore x .0045 for nitrous use up to 150hp
