I'm not sure if he's still using it, but I'm pretty sure he had to use it in his C5.

Yea, Orangeapeel gave me all the specs on it. It has a ton of duration but low lift. I guess that's nice for P/V clearance. Sounds real mean, I have been looking at a few different cams and this is one I'm considering. I was hoping to find someone that is running it or has ran it to see how it feels and acts. I heard it on LS1sounds, http://www.ls1sounds.com/Borla/borla...lsa_00WS6.mpeg.

wow, that motor looks like it has crappy mounts the way it jumps around like that!
Mine sounds similar to it. not quite as inconsistent though.

Yea, it did jump alot. I just thought it was from the lobe of the cam but it could be the mounts too. I was thinking of calling Comp to see what they have, they're my favorite cam company but I haven't been able to get much info off their site for LS1 cams so I'm just gonna call them to see what they have to say.

Or longer spring life, being a race only car...

Its not tuned very well and its on an A4. PTV would have to be checked not from the lift but duration and LS. May barley fit stock heads. but i would check

The "GM" Cars in Speed World Challenge GT have been running this cam in the past and probably for 2006. 500+ FWHP. SCCA had mandated that the Corvettes and Caddies run restrictor plates cause they were kicking viper *** not to hijack the thread..but, I have a brand new in the box one I'll sell. $280 shipped

We just recently sold one of or Z06 cars that made 457 rwhp with the cup cam and a set of Wheel to Wheel headers. I love this cam shaft, it soulds realy good and makes the car a blost to drive!!

We have the cam in stock for $468.95 so TAF's price is awsome!! Once his sells and anyone else is looking, please give me a call.

Aren't the SWC GT Vettes a different spec than the AMLS/GA series C6Rs?? Or are they are all Pratt & Miller/Katech built machines?

So, this thing is right at the threshold of needing to flycut?
I know checking PTV is always important, but from your experience, has there been a need to flycut on stock heads? Milled heads would be another issue, but I've never seen a clear answer regarding the flycutting issue with this cam.
Thanks.

Yes different.

Katech uses a propriatary Grind for the ALMS C6R stuff .

P&M/katech also builds some of the SCCA cars, but of course under the scca rules and mandates. .

TAF, give me just a bit to think about the cam. If no one else buys it before I do, I might take it off your hands for ya, I just want to do a bit more research first to see exactly what I want.

Yea, I know I do that's what scares me. I'm just trying to see what my setup can hold. I'm kinda looking at the Rex Killer and this but P/V clearance bothers me on my heads and I just want to make sure that everything else will hold.
