Default good idea/bad idea?

i just bought a set of 6L heads, and they where slightly used. I was wondering if i could use a pressure washer to clean these heads off? I'm not talking about using the highest power setting, or the jet nozzle, but maybe use it to spray some of the build up out of the chambers and just generally clean things.

are they bare or assembled? i would keep the high pressure away from the valve stem seals. spraying everything else would be fine. you want to completely dry the steel parts so they dont rust, compressed air will help alot. if they are assembled youll get water trapped between the spring, retainer, keepers, etc so i would install them asap (i mean, dont let them sit for weeks) so you get oil in there to displace the water.
