Tell me about this cam...

When I bought my Z06, it came with this cam. I'm just looking to get some info on it. I would like to know the charateristics of it. Does it promote high RPM power? Does it work good with nitrous? Anything you can get from a few specs, I would like to know.

What I know about the cam.
It has XE-R lobes. Intake lobe is 3725R, and Exhaust is 3729R.

Gross valve lift is .591 int and .605 exh
Duration at .050 is 230 int and 238 exh
Duration at .006 is 279 int and 287 exh

lobe seperation is 114.0

valve timing-- int open 5 btdc close 45
exh open 57 bboc close 1

That's a great cam for a Z06. It will not have any PTV problems and will give around 420 rwhp with headers and other bolt on's.. Not likely to pass emissions though... I had a cam very close to this in my Z06, that's how I know...

Thanks for the reply's. Right now I have LT headers, OR-X pipe, Borla Stingers, Vararam, and the cam. I have been tuning with my HPT and LC-1 setup, and now I'm thinking about a little nitrous. So 420 to the ground you think? I don't have emission inspections, so that doesn't bother me.
