<strong> Guys this is not because you are running head studs. Its because head gasket settles after several heat cycles. This happens with bolts also, you need to retorque after initial install.If studs are torqued properly to 75% of their yield strength they will not loosen up. Any other problems would indicate gasket or block thread problems. </strong></font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I did tighten them after several head cycles. And the heads are brand new and so was the block was decked form the machine shop. Hopefully they wont need to be retightened again. Im gonna check them in about 2.5k miles.

I run studs and Fel Pro for my daily driver and theres no question they clamp better than bolts.
