Default How to store the stock cam?

Ok guys getting ready to do my cam swap next week I'm all set but I'm wondering how to properly store the stock cam? I want to keep all the stock parts should I ever need to return it to the original state. I was going to pull the stocker, put it in some cellophane and put it in the box for the new cam. Should I put oil, assembly lube or grease on it to prevent corrosion? It will be stored for several years.

I put a good coat of motor oil on mine, put it in a big ziplock bag, and forgot about it. assembly lube might be a better idea.

Yea, sounds good. Spray it with oil, wrap it in a heavy paper and put it in a box.

I got a plastic tube, wrapped the cam in clean rags, then filled the tube with oil. It is now totally immersed in oil if I ever need it again.

I took mine and just stuck it in the bag and box my new cam came in. My buddy put assembly lube on his and wrapped it up like a mummy. His is rusting, mine is perfect.
