Great numbers!!

Are these the PRC 2.5 heads? I've got a set going on my C5 w/ a 230/236 .595 6.10 112 lsa XE-R cam. Also FAST and LS2 TB. Hoping for 450-460 RWHP.

Great numbers. How is traction in that track.

I was looking at CheaTR cam and now I am turning my head to this TSP Torquerv.2 cam. What do you think will be better with stock heads, cam only, LS1 346 engine. I am looking for stealth power with good street manners.

It will be with manual transmission and 4.10 gears.

Did this cam need great deal of tuning.

I am undecided between TR CheaTR and TSP Torquerv.2 cam. I think you tried both, right?

LS1 BU > peaks ~6200, my shifts are 6800/6800/6600

WKMCD > Yes PRC 2.5/ 5.3L (2.04/1.585), with hand bowl polish and PRC platinum springs.

bluecamaroz28 > Yes it needs good tuning. There are a few tricks to make it behave exceptionaly well at idle and off idle.
I had the Stealth II (MTI) cam, that one is a great Stealth cam when it comes to power.
I'm thinking of another Stealth for my Corvette, CheaTR is a strong contender, but I might go with a Lingenfelter GT11.

sweet! sounds like you got a nice combo there! sounds very simular to mine (FM14 232,234 600'600 112+2 | TEA 1.5 5.3's) now if i could just hook, and get in my clutch, maybe i can run some times that good! awesome job. what is your opinion on both cams? even though the specs are the same, could they act/put down different times b/c there ground from different company's? just curious.

Yeah, because of the difference in lobes. XE-R being slightly faster ramp than Cam Motion, {49 vs 50/51}, (should in theory), produce a few (very few) more ponies all else equal. (lifts and LSA).

oh ok, i always thought that XE-R was just a "type" of lobe as in all companies had XE-R, but i think your saying its a type of lobe that only comp/crane (whoever grinds TSP cams) uses? i didnt know that. alright well thanks for the info. did you run those times with drag radials on your aero's or do you have track wheels that you mount for track time?

I started cam only and did 404twhp
Then PRC 2.5/5.3L 429rwhp (nitrous tune)
Then 232/234 462 rwhp (nitrous tune)

All of these are locked VIG.

Let me guess, 1st is with stock heads and stealth II cam, right? Was it 404 rwhp or what. Who sells the stealth II cam?

2nd was with same cam above but with PRC 2.5/5.3L heads. Correct me if I am wrong.

Correct.
Just let me point out that I ran stock 241 heads but with a .045 Cometic so my SCR was bumped a bit.
Stealth II is a MTI cam (Comp XE-R) 224/220, .581/.581 116 LSA +0

I can't believe people are using G-Techs to accurately record RWHP numbers.. Thats funny.. If you have 460+rwhp (which i honestly dont think you do) and its only runnin 7.00's then there is a major problem somewhere..

Still some good results at the track though.. It should run around 6.80s-7.00s judging from other people with similar setups...

Quick,
I didn't say that I'm using G-Tech Pro to "accurately" measure, and if you read carefully it says 462 rwhp LOCKED.
Which in theory equates to roughly 430>440 rwhp unlocked.
It would be nice to DYNO if I could find one in this place. (UAE)
Also, you're talking 8th mile, and i have a 3200 stall. I would cut this 8th time into the 6's if I had a bigger stall, but I need a sronger dif. first.

Well you need to take into consideration our cars may make a little more power while moving than they would on a dyno...

Sorry I didnt remember it saying "locked".. My bad..

And yes you are correct.. With a 3800stall you would definately be in the 6's. It would do it now with some weight reduction though. But still, 7.00s are nice..

Who would have thought that you could get 7.00's out of a lil 346 with ported stock heads and a small cam and still have all the creature comforts! Gotta love the LSX motors!!
