Default Difference between LS1 and LS6

What's the difference? I've heard that LS6's have thicker cylinder walls so they are better for boring out but that's about it.

Ported oil passages in block bulkheads.
A few minor things. The big difference was in the ls6 heads and cam.

Yeah, i think the minor differences included re-locating a knock sensor and some small changes in the casting to add oil direction or cooling vanes...

Weren't the passages just to even back presure on the cylinders?
