Lunati cam clearance question & more
Duration @.050 IN/EX: 237/242
Gross Valve Lift IN/EX: .595"/.595"
Lobe Sep Angle / Intake Ctr Line: 112/108
Valve Lash IN/EX: Hyd/Hyd
RPM Range: 3000-6500
I installed this cam today & rolled it over, nothing felt touching but of course Id rather the heads were off to clay it. Took me by surprise when I measured the stock lobe quickly w/calipers (2000 ls1) @ 1.85 & the Lunati was smaller @ 1.8 What am I missing here ? For some reason I expected the Lunati to be quite larger than stock. Clearly you could see the ramp difference though. Yes I do feel stupid posting this, but figured Id ask the pros anyhow. Thanks--Don

The ramps on the Lunati are a bit softer than Comp XE lobes. It should be pretty kind on the valvetrain, be a little sluggish down low, but all hell should break loose over 4000rpm with it pulling like mad above 5K. Let us know where the cam peaks!
Let us know the results. This is a cam I have my eye on!
