So I pull out my cam and several of the lifters drop down into the oil pan!!! Damn. I guess that the lifter tray got worn or something. I dont know, I'm just pretty pissed right now. Well off with their heads. Probally going to upgrade. Anyone looking to get rid of some heads? If I take off the valley cover will I be able to the lifters?

 

a buddy of mine had the same thing happen to him but he was using pen magnets to hold the lifters up. Sorry i can't tell you exactly what to do without sounding like a dumbass. I learned from my friends mistakes and used wooden dowels to hold the lifters up when i did my cam install. Mistakes only make you better!!! Good luck man!
