valve cover help

Just had my valve covers powder coated while doing a head swap. On the driver side valve cover there is a alum. tray inside that came loose when they baked the covers.My question is will this hurt anything if I leave it out as I can see no way to re-attach this, or will this suck oil into the pcv system? without it, you will increase the amount of oil that is sucked thru the pcv system

Do you think I can put a pcv valve in the hole at the rear of valve cover it would be running in the same direction as the one next to the intake.....Hmmm any thoughts

I removed all the baffling and delfection shield material from my valve covers, and so far I havent noticed any difference in oil put into the catch can. This is on a new forged 347. I have ran the car at the track, made 5 passes with 25miles on it, then another 4 when it had 225miles on it. Just my personal experience.

In my case, I was consuming about 1.5 oz of oil per tank of gas (~ 250 miles). I don't recall what it was when I had the stock motor, but if memory serves, it was about half that.
