Well I see what he means. Before we started posting on LS1tech nobody really knew what we did. I think people viewed us as unreachable and only doing corporate work.

That is one big surface plate! By no means a chassis surface plate size but for one to be on a table, that's dam big.

The Haas cnc machine was designed by a guy that graduated from my school CSUN. We had two of those at our school that were donated by him to the mechanical engineering program. Very nice stuff. The company looks huge and very clean.

Well I'm glad you now know what a surface plate looks like, glad I could teach you something today. Then again what's new?

I've got 3 of them... dam 30 x 30 granite ones are around $1500+ each. One day you'll get there.
