Default Which head to use with my cam?

Im thinking of getting a set of heads to intsall when I do my cam swap. The cam I have is a custom grind between the F13 and F14 it is a 230/234 .595/.598
Which set of heads do you guys recomend I compliment this size cam with, also what thickness of gasket to use?

What is your budget, when I had the cam I had some Meaux's Racing/Futral 5.3 heads to go with it.

If you have the dough you can't go wrong with a set of AFR 205s IMHO.

We have had several customers who have used the f13 with our LS6 style stage II heads and have liked the set up. Right now we have our LS6 style heads and also some 243 CNC ported castings that are availabe at a great price. Either will do well with your cam.

Budget: Patriot is your best bet. Plus I am partial to some company that will pipe up in the thread. Seems like Gunnar back their stuff really well!

Depends on your budget. The ETP's seem to be producing some serious numbers right now but they're also some serious coin. the 5.3 heads out there raise compression and produce very nice results for a lot less money. I'm running TSP/PRC 2.5's, numbers in sig. Patriot is making some noise as well with their ls6 and AFR's are considererd to be one of the best heads as well. Price wise it looks like ETP,AFR,TSP, Patriot most to less money wise.

You have alot of choices when it comes to cylinder heads.. We just recently finished up a brand new LS6 program that flows better than any other LS6 cylinder head I've seen on our bench. This program works well with smaller valves as well as larger valves. As a intro special we are offering the heads complete with LS6 springs & decked to your specs for $849 a pair! The standard valve setup moves good air & gives you the ability to upgrade to larger valves down the road or right off the bat.

I have flow data for just about every cylinder head we carry, PRC, ET, DART, Etc... Feel free to contact me for info on anyone of these cylinder heads! We only carry the best products & offer a 100% money back guarantee!

Here are some flow numbers from a 2.00"/1.55" ported head that is shipping to a customer today:

.300" 215 / 165
.400" 254 / 200
.500" 285 / 217
.550" 292 / 221
.600" 301 / 226

These are on a 3.905" bore using a clay radius. These particular heads are a set that come with stock valves and our Orginal Patriot Gold Dual spring kit.
