I read another thread about a stock block hitting 607 rwhp and some members expressing concern on the stock blocks limitations. Just curious as to how much power a stock aluminum block (highly modified internals) can handle. I'm shooting for 1000+ HP and have a stock block. If the block can handle it great I'll use it, if not I'll have to sell. I plan on running twin turbos as my sig says.

 

I've done 600 rwhp on a Mustang dyno with stock rods, rings, and pistons. It's all in the tune.

Not recommended for FI applications. You should go Iron for that much power (Forged with gas relief pistons)
Stock block is good for 500>600 rwhp fairly reliably.
