I have a 99 SS with minor bolt ons, but anyway I was wondering how much it would be if I bought a brand new LS1 and forged all internals?

They all have sweet shortblock packages. You would be looking at around 5-7 grand all said and done complete longblock. Depending on combo and parts.

 

Speed Inc. has a forged 346 advertized for $2,799 i believe, but that's a short block

 

Some sponsors are selling complete stroker forged shortblocks for ~$4,000. A std. size 346ci motor is going for around $3,000 - 3,500. Price depends on what you want - what crank, what rods, what pistons, what cam, what compression, what displacement?
