Rear Main Install?

Just Wanted To Know If There Are Any Tricks To Installing It. I Know It Must Go On Dry. The Seal Is Already In The Cover. Lip Keeps Rolling Out When It's About Half Way On The Crank. It Is A Eagle Crank, And The Plastic Guide You Get With The Seal Is Smaller Than The End Of The Crank. So If Anyone Has Any Pointers Let Me Know. Thanks

I used a small flat tipped screwdriver and very carefully worked it around until it was fully seated. If you do it this way take your time and be very careful not to tear it.

Hmmm.. I always used my fingertips, and took my time. Once you get the lip straight it slides down the crank really easy. I always put a thin film of oil on the seal too.

We sell a install tool that makes the job simple, the problem is its 100.00 dollars. If your going to do a few engines a year, or you just want to be sure that you don't need to pull it back out............
